Implement Safety Guidelines
Safety must always be an ongoing discussion that is consistently top of mind for every situation coaches and athletes encounter.
The policies and guidelines that a coach and their sport organization put into place provide the framework for a safe and transparent sport environment.
Starting the Season
The off-season is a great opportunity to assess the policies and procedures that your team/organization has in place and identify any gaps. Reviewing organizational safety policies ahead of the season with all participants makes expectations clear and ensures a safer environment for athletes and coaches alike.
